Chamonix, France - 2006

What is better than a winter in California? A winter in France, obviously! I was very lucky to have my sister Stacey and her husband Jon based in Chamonix in March of 2006. Jon was there as part of a ski-patrol exchange program that has existed between Chamonix and Utah's Snow Bird for decades. Every year a patroller from Utah would go to France and vice-versa. After years and years of patrolling, Jon scored big.

After letting Stacey and Jon settle in to their new residence in France for a few months, I gathered a few friends to embark on the ultimate ski vacation.
