Baby: Face Can you see baby's face?

About a week ago, we got another ultrasound of our new addition. It is always such a fun time to see the little one moving about in Mom's belly. It is truly a miracle. We just can't wait to meet the little one... which should be any day now. Our official due date is the 28th of this month. Who knows, will we meet our baby sooner? I hope so, can't wait!

Finally, a digital SLR! I have put off the purchase of a DSLR for some time now but with the baby in the immediate future, I was figuring that I might need to get serious about photography in order to adequately capture the youngster's activities. As you can see, I have been practicing on other "willing" subjects. I just love how detailed digital can be these days. I still look through some of my old photos in iPhoto and cringe when I see that their resolution is only 1600x1200. Oh well, I'm sure some day I will be doing the same for my Nikon's 4288x2848. Hmmm... maybe not. That's a whole lot 'O pixels, eh?

Paper Pinhole Cameras

This spotlight on some of the coolest pinhole cameras really takes me back to college. I was tasked, along with the rest of my photography class, to create a pinhole camera and capture something worthy. For the life of me, I can't remember what I ended up shooting but I do wish that I could do it all again. It's real nice to see that people are still using pinhole cameras. I wonder if I could find one of these highlighted cameras as a print-out kit so that I could get in the game too. FUN!! Does anyone else out there have any experience with pinhole photography? If not, you should certainly check some out. I'd be interested what could be found via google search.

Baby Room Update

► Click Here to Enlarge Image We are in the final stretches here with baby Seybold only 3 weeks from it's delivery date. Just last week, Kathy and I finished off the look of the baby room and thought we would share. As you can see, we have gone with the gender neutral Winnie the Pooh theme with light green paint. We are very happy with the results. Now all we need is baby to finish it all off. Yaaaay!
