Finally, a digital SLR! I have put off the purchase of a DSLR for some time now but with the baby in the immediate future, I was figuring that I might need to get serious about photography in order to adequately capture the youngster's activities.

As you can see, I have been practicing on other "willing" subjects. I just love how detailed digital can be these days. I still look through some of my old photos in iPhoto and cringe when I see that their resolution is only 1600x1200. Oh well, I'm sure some day I will be doing the same for my Nikon's 4288x2848. Hmmm... maybe not. That's a whole lot 'O pixels, eh?
