Well, I had to retire a pair of Rainbow sandals last weekend and it was a very difficult time for me. The old ones had given me well over 2.5 years of walking comfort but it was time to move on to a new set as a hole was about to break through the right one. So I am rocking a spankin' new set and am pretty stoked, after all, they are the Rolls Royce of sandals... YES! Fear not old rainbows, you will always have a special place in my heart and memory.

Ok, so this is day 2 in my hell. I can now start up my laptop. All seems well for about 10 minutes before things start to slow down and seize up. The hard drive at this point makes a clicking sound and you can't do squat. So, I can then shut it down, let it cool off and start over. This is working nicely for backing up all of my software, I have almost eveything off now. Now I have to take my machine back to Apple and let them fix it. 10 DAYS! AHHH! Oh well, I'm just glad I got everything off. Lessons learned are... 1. Backup your data daily and 2. Get Applecare on any machine you buy, especially a laptop.

Well, my laptop took a massive dump today... I hope I can get my files recovered. Heck, I hope I can get it running. It has a bunch of work files that I need TODAY. I'm sooooo screwed.
