Pink Floyd is reuniting for a Live 8 performance? How did I miss this nugget of information till just now? Absurd! I've been waiting for this for DECADES!

Too bad it is only one show. Hopefully this will open up conversations in the band to... maybe... tour again? It could happen!

Nine Inch Nails is teaming up with Queens of the Stoneage this fall in a tour that will cover the U.S. starting in San Diego on September 16th. Good times are ahead everyone.

New Music Tuesday

Well, it was quite a day for new music my friends. I spent the better half of an hour browsing my local Best Buy and picking up some top notch audio therapy. I started with the new Coldplay album as did everyone else in the store and then went in search of the new Dream Theater album. YES! Finally I broke down and got the new White Stripes. What a wonderful day in music. Even better, next week has some great releases too!

Passports & Chain Saws

A man arrived at the U.S.-Canadian border carrying a homemade sword, a hatchet, a knikfe, brass knuckles and a chain saw. U.S. custom agents let him in. (HUH?)Jump to the next day when the decapitated body of a man and the stabbed body of his wife were found in the guy's home town back in Canada. Hmmm... what a mystery. Oh, to make it even sweeter, the chain saw that was turned in at the border had blood on it.
