Happy Birthday Julia!

Julia - 4

Julia turned 4 today. Wow, how time flies! She celebrated this year in the company of all of the Skeie clan who were visiting to help celebrate Bob and Carolyn's 50th wedding anniversary. Additionally we were able to celebrate the engagement of David and June (seen here) who are going to be getting hitched in just a few months. Lots to celebrate.

We all love you so much Julia!

An 'Exercise'

I recently did an exercise to see how I could make a website improve on what they currently offered. The site that was chosen was mywedding.com and, if you visit the link, you can see how drastically different my design is. I think it is quite an upgrade. I enjoy these types of explorations as they give you a very good chance to pull a brand/company completely apart and then put it all back together. What do you think?

Believe it or not not, the watch that Buzz Aldrin wore as he took those first steps on the moon wasn't some custom contraption engineered by NASA to endure the vacuum of space. It was an Omega Speedmaster Chronograph, and 45 years later the watchmaker has released a commemorative follow-up called the Speedmaster Professional Apollo 11—now made from space-age titanium. The price is pretty out of this world (see what I did there?), so I'll probably be skipping the upgrade. 8K? Ya, no thanks.

Guess who turned 3 months this week*? I'm actually 4 days late posting this... but I should get a pass as I have THREE kids to run after. You should be grateful I can still post anything at all. *HINT: It's not the frog.
