I've been trying to get my greasy fingers on this set of three books for weeks now. I'm having a crazy amount of trouble getting the payment to go through on Paypal though. Starting to really get annoying. Just send me my books!

Three beautiful, illustrated hardbound books a year, each holding six articles and six personal lessons that use the maturing of the discipline of web design as a starting point for deeper explorations of our work and who we are as designers.

Well, the big pixel award that I won for my work on the goSWIRE agency website arrived yesterday. I could not be more proud of the team that helped put it together (and voted regularly). Big thanks to the Pixel Awards for the award. It always feels oh so good to win.

I have been fascinated by the Iditarod race that takes place every year up in Alaska for as long I have known about it. Amazing. This year's winner is a 25 year old, the youngest ever. Follow the link below to see a slew of pictures that will leave you amazed.

Travel Posters For Lazy People

I got quite a kick out of these mock travel posters. I have my share of classic travel posters that I found a few years back. These mimick the style and tone of those, but are geared towards a new crowd of lazy travellers. There are many days where this is the kind of vacation that I wish for. Don't get me wrong, I love to romp around Europe with a backpack as much as I ever have, I just really like R&R. Mmmmmmm... naps. Thanks to Kenzo for the link via Twitter.
