Ski Day at Copper!

Copper Mountain

Well it isn't very often that either I or Kathy gets out to ski anymore, especially together. But with the lovely gift that is a Grandmother that comes from time to time, we were able to sneak away during the week and carve up one of our local favorites.

Copper Mountain is awesome for so many reasons.

My sister used to be a ski instructor there.
The terrain is super varied. REAL hard stuff and easy for anyone you may have with you.
It's crowds are far less than Vail or some of the other big mountains.
They take 2 for 1 coupons that we get when we fill up our gas. YES!

Anyways, I know there are dozens of amazing choices to fullfill your needs when you come to the Colorado Winterland. All I ask is that you consider what has become one of my favorites. Oh, and Vail is still our #1 if the snow is good and we can find a deal on tickets (rare).

Sign me up! I'd do this in a heartbeat. Well, I might have to poop first... but THEN I'd be ready to go! Well, I might have to be a world class climber with all super-brand-new equipment that didn't show ANY signs of wear. Oh, I'd also have to be with quite an experienced bunch of folks that knew what they were doing (like Bro-In-Law Jon for instance). That being said, I'm positive I would not be the first one to try it out. That is a given. Ya, totally not going first. That guy would have to be nuts.

Julia loves her new big balloon. Watch he have a good time with it when we went out to Wahoos the other night. BTW, Wahoos CO is so awesome. Every month they announce a couple first names that win free drinks at happy hour (limit 3). Now THAT is great marketing!
