Came across this flyer in downtown Glendora last night. I was howling, I thought it was so darn funny. I mean, really, does it get any better than that? No, is the answer.

“Ah, if only we could flip a big happy switch and convert all the web's Flash content into (functional) HTML5 code. It's a dream shared by many and, funnily enough, the company pushing to make it a reality is none other than Adobe itself, the owner and proprietor of Flash. Its Labs research team has just released an experimental new dev tool, dubbed Wallaby, that's targeted at taking Flash-encoded artwork and animations and turning them into a more compatible mix of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.”

Came across a posting of some random map company that had one heck of a talented type-nerd working for them. The above image is the cover for one of their publications. Follow the link to see more of their work. That would probably take me 10,000 years to create something similar.

Discovery

As the Orbiter Discovery embarks on it's last mission to space before retiring, a International Space Station guest Paolo Nespoli captured this shot of the proud ship approaching dock. Pretty crazy to see a shadow cast on a spaceship, isn't it? Beyond this shot, there are MANY more taken by Nespoli that are being fed to his Flickr stream in (almost) real time. Amazing!
