Well, the site launched last night and I'm am very proud of my team for getting it up. We went through round after round of revisions and came out with one that simply looks stunning (in my humble opinion).

Thanks to the SWIRE team for sticking it out and making this thing look so sharp. If you have a few minutes, go check it out for yourselves. You can even start reading and sign up for our Blog.

Steve and team, you've got my heartfelt gratitude for the amazing work you've done on our new site. I know many late nights, revisions and roadblocks were overcome. I love it and can't wait to share it with everyone. Amazing work as always!

iCade Returns!

In April of last year, I was fooled (yes, April fooled) into believing that a cool product that mimicked a stand up arcade for the iPad was on the way. I was sad, upset and dumbfounded that the brilliant idea was in fact fiction. Turns out that many other people were too. So many people thought that it was such a good idea that it is now an actual product. Happy Day! I just hope that they aren't fooling me again. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... fool me... fool me once, can't fool me again."

Apple TV

Kathy got me an Apple TV for Christmas this year and I must say that I absolutely love it. I subscribe to numerous video podcast, YouTube channels, Flickr feeds among other media streams. Keeping up with all of these has been manageable on my computers and other devices but the Apple TV does such a good job of simplifying all the UI to give me what I want, when I want it... and on my LCD TV! Watching photo slideshows is also a special treat as you can finally see the hi-res media that you have captured in years past come to life on a large screen. Same goes for movies made in iMovie. It basically takes all of my digital media and sends it to the most optimum viewing device, the TV, and for that, I am extremely thankful.

After getting a nice snowstorm late last week, we decided that it was the right time to take Julia out for her first sledding trip. We didn't have to go far, merely a block up towards south table mountain and we had the slope and the snow for some fun. Good times! We have some fun videos taken as well. I'll work on getting some of those posted here or on Tumblr soon too.
