Got to thinking of some of the bands that have really influenced me in the last 10 years or so and one that really pops to the top of the list is Helmet. The rocking good band was (they broke up in early 1998) was lead by Paige Hamilton (a musical genius) who is now in a band called Gandhi.- Just Like Me (mp3)- Money Shot (mp3)- Everybody Loves You (mp3)The other heavy hitter in Helmet was John Stanier, who is now in a band called Tomahawk.- Rape This Day (mp3)- God Hates a Coward (mp3)Check out the rest of the listings for Tomahawk, rediculous amounts of talent. Remember Mike Patton from Faith No More? Of course you do. In any case, you may want to continue to follow these guys, their amazing talent will continue to appease the masses.
