Well, it was quite a day for new music my friends. I spent the better half of an hour browsing my local Best Buy and picking up some top notch audio therapy. I started with the new Coldplay album as did everyone else in the store and then went in search of the new Dream Theater album. YES! Finally I broke down and got the new White Stripes. What a wonderful day in music. Even better, next week has some great releases too!

Passports & Chain Saws

A man arrived at the U.S.-Canadian border carrying a homemade sword, a hatchet, a knikfe, brass knuckles and a chain saw. U.S. custom agents let him in. (HUH?)Jump to the next day when the decapitated body of a man and the stabbed body of his wife were found in the guy's home town back in Canada. Hmmm... what a mystery. Oh, to make it even sweeter, the chain saw that was turned in at the border had blood on it.

You may not know him by name but this guy is really getting on my nerves. He is the eHarmony guy and he just creeps me out. That on top of the massive increase in eHarmony commercials and I have to start publicly asking for him to STOP!

Dream Theater

I was checking out the Ice Magazine website this morning and saw that one of my favorite bands is coming out with a new album next week. It has been titled Octavarium. Sweet!

Laguna Landslides

Wow, there was a HUGE landslide in my hometown of Laguna Beach. To those who have lost their homes, my prayers are with you.
