Healthy Snacks

With the recent trend of wholesome snack foods reaching "truly ridiculous proportions," Frito-Lay announced Monday that it would, against its better judgment, roll out a new line of healthy fruit-and-vegetable-based chips next February. "Here," said Frito-Lay CEO Al Carey as he disgustedly tossed a bag of the company's new Flat Earth-brand snack crisps onto the lectern during a meeting with shareholders and members of the press. "Here's some shit that's made from beets. I hope you're all happy now that you have your precious beet chips with the recommended daily serving of fruit, or vegetables, or whatever the hell a 'beet' is." HILARIOUS!!

Jeff's Last Show

My buddy Jeff played his last Quiet show last Saturday and it was fantastic. Andy and I traveled out to Hollywood to watch the festivities and scored when they decided to end the show with a personal favorite of mine, "He's Just a Friend" by Biz Markie. Great song, great cover, great band. We'll miss you on stage Hef!

AT&T / iPhone MMS Finally Here

It’s two weeks early, but many US iPhone users are reporting that their phones now have the ability to send and receive MMS messages (eg. video and images). The hold-up was AT&T, with doubts in the past that its network could handle the load. I, for one, think I have waited long enough not to care anymore. Does anyone even do MMS messaging anyways?
