Ok, so we all know that my musical tastes go all over the spectrum. I will have days where I listen to Willie Nelson, Yanni and Opeth all in the same day. I know, I'm a mess. You may think that I like, well, anything. You are completely wrong. For as much music that I love and crave, there is just as much that I loathe. I will not get into that list as I'm in high spirits tonight and I only want to focus on what is great and making me smile lately.

A few weeks back I was invited to a Jazz concert by an old friend who has been in music ever since we were together in elementary school. Since then, Randy has moved up the talent ladder and has ended up being a celebrated artist. Upon receiving the invitation I decided to see what kinds of music I could find, if any, by Randy. I hopped on iTunes and found that Randy had released an album. I gave it the quick 30 second scan and dug it immediately.

After owning the album for about 2 weeks now, I can firmly say that this is truly genius. If you have any interest in Jazz music, I highly recommend, no, insist you pick this album up.

I just hope that Randy has some follow up goodness soon.
