Welcome to Infected Media, the portfolio site of Steven Seybold, Art Director and Designer.

Today is my last day at FOX and I'm really having mixed emotions. I'm super stoked about the next phase of my life and career in Denver with Swire but can't help to reflect on four awesome years here at Idol with a great team.

I will most certainly miss my Idol family but at least I still have all of the memories. From starting off with just Jeff, Miles and Jared to a much larger team through countless different office spaces (actually 7), I have so much to look back at and giggle about. Thanks everyone, I wish you all the best!

Simplicity in Good Web Design

"Simplicity in website design doesn’t necessarily equate with a minimalist design aesthetic. Simple sites just remove all unnecessary elements from the design, content, and code. While minimalist sites generally fit this criteria, there are plenty of sites that wouldn’t, by any stretch of the imagination, be considered “minimalist” that still fit the definition of simple."

There hasn't been a protest sign that I have seen in the past that I have been more drawn to. Call me simple, I just think this is hilarious. Oh, and yes, that show was awesome.

A couple of MIT students launched a balloon with a camera attached to the height of 17.5 miles. Pretty freaking cool and super inexpensive nowadays with readily available technology like digital cameras, GPS, and tracking software. Totally makes me want to go out and do something similar.
