What a triumph! Fantabulous album, played over and over and over and over and over by me.

How did this one slip through my fingers? I thought I had them all, minus a greatest hits. Oh well, problem has been remedied. "Trippin' On a Hole In a Paper Heart" is just a fantastic tune.

This is a weird one for me. It was released back in 1994 and I certainly listened to it quite a bit, but it didn't have the staying power that Core had for me. I kinda forgot about it and didn't play it much for the next 2 decades or more. Fast forward to the last month or so when I found it again. I kept playing Purple over and over. So many great songs, so many great memories to visit. Enjoyed it so much, I decided I had to find it on vinyl (which I did on 11/21/22).
As I recall, this album was one of the few that was on heavy rotation in the Wahoos kitchen at the Sawdust Festival.

Quite possibly the album that I have listened to more than any other in my history. I can still remember playing this on repeat in high school. Over and over and over and over and... it's a special album that came to me at a special time in my life. Plush. That song. There is nothing better.
