Fun In The Snow

This photo is a couple weeks old but it is just so cute, I had to share it. Julia is really taking to the snow and we just love taking her out to play in it. We're so thankful for this winter as we've received so much of the light and fluffy stuff to play in. Keep it coming!

Did she fall from the sky? did you throw her and she hit the landing? I don't get the lack of footprints. Did she stand there as the snow fell around her?

We used a pulley system to get her in place... or maybe it was photoshop taking care of a big dad-sized footprint to her left.

When you work in advertising, you're obsessed with advertising. Luckily, obsession has its place at the 2012 Dallas ADDY's. Got a pretty good giggle out of me. I feel this guy's pain a lot of the time. A LOT of the time. It still amazes me when clients can't see my genius and want to question my creative decisions. Haha...

Ski Day at Copper!

Well it isn't very often that either I or Kathy gets out to ski anymore, especially together. But with the lovely gift that is a Grandmother that comes from time to time, we were able to sneak away during the week and carve up one of our local favorites. Copper Mountain is awesome for so many reasons. My sister used to be a ski instructor there. The terrain is super varied. REAL hard stuff and easy for anyone you may have with you. It's crowds are far less than Vail or some of the other big mountains. They take 2 for 1 coupons that we get when we fill up our gas. YES! Moe Dixon at JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern (après-ski)! Anyways, I know there are dozens of amazing choices to fullfill your needs when you come to the Colorado Winterland. All I ask is that you consider what has become one of my favorites. Oh, and Vail is still our #1 if the snow is good and we can find a deal on tickets (rare).

Sign me up! I'd do this in a heartbeat. Well, I might have to poop first... but THEN I'd be ready to go! Well, I might have to be a world class climber with all super-brand-new equipment that didn't show ANY signs of wear. Oh, I'd also have to be with quite an experienced bunch of folks that knew what they were doing (like Bro-In-Law Jon for instance). That being said, I'm positive I would not be the first one to try it out. That is a given. Ya, totally not going first. That guy would have to be nuts.
